The Yerba Mansa Project offers educational programs throughout the year in partnership with other supporting organizations. Most community events are free and open to the public. Topics include plant identification, changing landscapes of New Mexico, edible and medicinal plants, and more.
We offer free educational programs for school classrooms providing opportunities for curriculum-related research projects, community service, and experiential field learning.
The Yerba Mansa Project also has a free online field guide for self-directed learning about our local plants. Created in iNaturalist, it is available for use at home on your desktop or on your mobile device while hiking.
